Darren Carr aka TruCarr is a Watts native with a southern undertone. Born in Upland, Ca and raised in Watts, TruCarr is the youngest of 4 siblings. Growing up Darren was always a fan of music. His mom would always tell him to go outside and get out of grown folks business. Upon release from jail, TruCarr went straight for the necks of la streets by dropping the viral single “Outside”. 2 million plus streams in, he is set to release a tape “Journee” inspired by the unfortunate loss of his daughter Journee. The tape will include singles like Hollywood feat SOBxRBE Daboii, Why and Wont fold up.
